Salesforce AgentExchange Gems: A Mix of Familiar Names and Hidden Finds

May 6, 2026 | Judi Sohn

If you spend any time in the Salesforce ecosystem, you know the AgentExchange (formerly AppExchange) can feel overwhelming. Thousands of listings, variable quality, and it’s not always obvious which tools are worth your time. Below is a curated mix of apps I’ve used or gotten deeply familiar with recently. Some you may know. Some might be new to you. All of them solve real problems.

Apsona Suite (Apsona)

How many tools are your admins juggling to query, import, export, update, merge docs, and clean up dupes? Apsona is all of that in one place. Complex data manipulation, cross-object reporting, doc and email merge, deduplication, and inline editing. Just clicks and no code.

Best for: Admins duct-taping together a data tool, a reporting tool, a doc gen tool, and a deduplication tool. Apsona consolidates all of these. More information here.

Mambo Merge (MK Partners)

Document generation shouldn’t require a developer. Mambo Merge is something any admin can set up, and there’s a genuinely free plan (not just a trial). It generates Word docs, PDFs, Excel files, and PowerPoint decks from Salesforce data using simple merge field syntax. Works from any object page, list view, or Screen Flow.

Best for: Teams creating repetitive documents like acknowledgements, receipts, or invoices who currently have staff generating documents manually. More information here.

Better Activity Capture & Calendar Sync for Salesforce (Yoxel)

When Einstein Activity Capture (EAC) isn’t enough, this fills the gap. EAC has real limitations: activities aren’t stored as true Salesforce records (so they’re not reportable), retention is capped, and syncing is limited to a single Microsoft 365 or Google org. Yoxel addresses all of this with rule-based, bidirectional sync of emails, calendars, contacts, and tasks to any Salesforce object, plus deduplication on every sync cycle.

Best for: Admins and staff at Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace orgs where EAC’s reporting and retention limitations are causing real problems. More information here.

Permissions Assistant (Tython)

Native tools show you permissions. This one helps you actually understand them. You can search across all profiles and permission sets to find exactly where a permission is granted, compare users side by side, flag risky or redundant assignments, and track how permission sets change over time. Everything runs on-platform; no data leaves your org.

Best for: Admins doing security audits, preparing for compliance reviews, or cleaning up years of permission set sprawl. More information here.

Campaign Member Management (Salesforce Labs)

For years, Salesforce Labs apps have been a go-to free and open resource for the community. These are apps written by and supported by Salesforce employees to solve real problems. Anyone who has managed a multi-status event campaign (Invited, Registered, Attended, No Show) knows how tedious it is to update members through the native related list. This app adds a proper management interface directly on the Campaign record so you can view, filter, and bulk update statuses without navigating away.

Best for: Event teams managing campaigns with multiple member statuses. More information here.

FormAssembly (FormAssembly)

The go-to when data collection has to be airtight and land in exactly the right Salesforce objects. Deep field mapping, conditional logic, multi-page forms, pre-fill from existing Salesforce data, and compliance support for HIPAA, GDPR, and FedRAMP. There’s also offline data collection via iOS and Android apps with auto-sync on reconnect.

Best for: Organizations with serious data collection requirements, including healthcare intake, nonprofit grant applications, or higher education admissions. More information here.

Drive Connect (Appiphony)

Your files are in Drive. Your data is in Salesforce. Drive Connect stops making your team choose which one to trust. Link any Google Drive file or folder to any Salesforce record, preview and edit Docs, Sheets, and Slides without leaving Salesforce, and automate folder creation and file management through Salesforce Flow. Also supports document generation for Google and Microsoft formats from Salesforce data.

Best for: Any Salesforce org running Google Workspace where teams are maintaining separate filing systems. More information here.

GoFundMe Pro for Salesforce Agentforce Nonprofit Cloud (GoFundMe Pro)

If someone donates through GoFundMe and you can’t see it in Salesforce, you don’t actually know your donor. This integration (GoFundMe Pro was formerly Classy) syncs donations, supporters, and campaigns to Salesforce in near real time, supporting both Nonprofit Cloud and the legacy NPSP. It covers tribute data, event registrations, ticketing, and custom question responses, with deduplication handled through Salesforce’s native matching rules.

Best for: Nonprofits using GoFundMe Pro as their fundraising platform and Salesforce Agentforce Nonprofit (formerly Nonprofit Cloud) or NPSP as their CRM. More information here.

Mogli for Agentforce (Mogli)

Your stakeholders aren’t waiting at a Salesforce portal. They’re on their phones. Mogli has long been one of the top-rated SMS and WhatsApp apps on the AgentExchange, built natively on Salesforce with a strong support reputation. The Agentforce extension brings your agents directly to stakeholders over text, with all conversation data flowing back into Salesforce Contact records automatically.

Best for: Orgs using Agentforce that want to reach stakeholders over SMS or WhatsApp rather than requiring them to visit a portal. Especially relevant for nonprofits and education institutions. More information here.

Simple Survey Agent Extension for Chat (Vicasso)

The best time to ask for feedback is right after the conversation ends, not in a follow-up email two days later. This 100% native Agentforce extension works in the Messaging for In-App and Web channel, enabling your AI agent to identify the right survey program, send the survey link, and update records automatically. Responses flow directly into Salesforce tied to Cases, Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities.

Best for: Service teams deploying Agentforce chat who want to close the feedback loop at the moment it matters most, without manual follow-up. More information here.

Final Thoughts

A few themes across this list worth noting: most of these apps are 100% native to Salesforce, meaning your data stays in your org. Free or permanently free tiers exist more than you might expect (Mambo Merge, Campaign Member Management). And the Agentforce extension ecosystem is just getting started, with Mogli and Vicasso among the early builders worth watching.
